Our person centered care is overseen by a registered nurse who delegates nursing services or tasks to a Certified Nursing Assistant who when providing services in a private residence is designated as a Home Health Aide (HHA).
Such tasks may include:
Daily activities often performed by a person who is living independently in a community setting during the course of a normal day such as managing money, shopping, telephone use, travel in community, housekeeping, preparing meals, and taking medications correctly.
Self-care activities performed in the course of a normal day in a person's life, such as eating, toileting, dressing, bathing, transferring and continence.
Other tasks a CNA may perform are of a medical nature for example, they may assist with self-administered medication, measuring blood pressure, caring for urinary catheters, maintaining medical equipment and assistive devices.
